The warehouse is expected to be ready for occupancy from 2025. However, according to our current construction schedule, storage could also be very realistic as early as October 24. For more detailed information, simply sign up for our newsletter and we will keep you informed.
After you have concluded the rental contract with us online, you will either receive an RFID chip directly at reception during our opening hours or we will send it to you in advance by post. If you are in a particular hurry, we will place the chip in a key box for you and provide you with a number combination to gain access to the entrance area and your chosen storage box.
You can store immediately after completing the booking process and receiving confirmation with the access data for your storage compartment. In exceptional cases, especially outside our regular opening hours, you will have to wait up to 48 hours.
All compartments are numbered and you will receive a floor plan together with your booking confirmation. There is also a floor plan and escape plan at the entrance area. Your compartment will be secured with a padlock that meets a high security standard and, especially in view of the fire protection regulations, will be ready for you in your compartment in its original packaging with 2 keys at the start of storage. These keys are part of the rental agreement and are subject to a one-off charge. You are free to continue using this lock after cancellation.
Access to your compartment from Monday to Sunday is possible around the clock, i.e. 24/7.
Yes, you can use the storage compartment for four weeks at short notice or for several months, even for several years. It serves as an external cellar room for your leisure items, such as bicycles, ski equipment, climbing equipment or other leisure items. The storage unit is also ideal for long-term storage of removal goods, household items or files for both private individuals and companies.
Furniture, household items, leisure articles, company stocks or files are usually stored in our storage units. In principle, almost all items can be stored. However, animals, plants, food, weapons, explosives, chemicals, narcotics, waste, hazardous waste and all flammable, highly explosive, toxic or otherwise dangerous or unhealthy materials are excluded from storage.
Only you yourself, using the RFID chip for the entrance area in combination with the key for the padlock on the door of your storage unit. In exceptional cases, such as imminent danger, the fire brigade, the storage operator or the landlord have access.
Your storage box or storage compartment can be reached at ground level without steps or other obstacles, so that you can use aids such as mobile boards.
Our location is comprehensively insured, including protection against natural disasters. However, you must insure your stored items against loss or damage yourself. Many household contents insurance policies offer external insurance - ask your insurer about this. As the amount of insurance depends on the value of the stored items and every tenant stores items of different value, individual insurance is required.
We offer insurance that covers direct damage or loss of your property during storage. This includes damage caused by natural hazards such as storms or flooding, damage caused by third parties such as accidents with vehicles against the gate and theft in your storage unit or on site following a break-in. The cost of this insurance starts from just €6 per month, depending on the value of your stored items.
As a removal company and storage operator, we are happy to offer you support with the safe and space-saving storage and removal of your belongings, transport or the disassembly and reassembly of your furniture. You can simply contact us by phone or send us your enquiry using our contact form.
Payment is made conveniently by SEPA Core Direct Debit for private individuals or by SEPA Business-to-Business Direct Debit for businesses at the beginning of each rental month.
The cancellation period is only 2 weeks to the weekend. You can simply use our online form to cancel. You will then receive a confirmation.
Yes, a deposit is required. On acceptance of the rental offer, this amounts to 12 weeks' rent, which must be paid. You will receive the deposit back from us by bank transfer at the end of the storage relationship.
Yes, you can purchase professional-quality moving boxes, adhesive tape, film or covers in our moving shop during our opening hours. You can pick them up or have them delivered to you. We also offer tools for your move or your storage or removal for hire. Simply speak to one of our removal consultants or use our contact form.
Yes, that's no problem. Simply provide your supplier with the conditions, access and all the necessary details and they can then simply deliver or collect.
We have already considered everything for your safe storage at Maier during the planning stage. The warehouse is brightly lit and air-conditioned so that the temperature does not fall below 12 degrees. A ventilation system ensures that the ambient air is constantly exchanged and filtered to guarantee a continuous and constant level of humidity. We have taken precautions against vermin infestation and regular checks and measures supplement these precautions. Doors, locks and access control meet a high security standard, including video surveillance in the reception area with motion detectors for the lights. A sealed floor and wall covering binds dust and dirt. This is rounded off by a modern fire alarm system with a connection to the fire brigade control centre.
